Friday, Oct 15, we arrived around 6 a.m. Got to Layze's house and chilled for a minute, then we decided to go to iHop. After that, we went back to his house and knocked out for a few hours. After we all woke up and got ready, we decided to go to Times Square. We had to take the subway there since Layze lives in Jersey. It was sooooooo cold! It was kind of hard to enjoy everything since it was do cold. So after a few hours of shopping, we were hungry! We went to this Japanese restaurant, it was alright. I didn't like the food much. We walked around for a but more then We headed back to jersey after that. We dropped by a Mexican restaurant and for something to eat again .
Saturday, Oct 16, we woke up around 10 ish. Layze's mom made us spaghetti and fried plantanes. Yummy. We picked up his friend and proceeded to hop on the bus and head to new York and catch the subway to Brooklyn; which is where Evolution took place.
The battles were dope! I've never seen so many door bboys and bgirls. There were even really young generation bboys and bgirls that were CRAZY!!! This days battles were the prelims for the crew battles. My boyfriend entered wit Layze's crew; part time models Haha. I thought they did very well. I've attached a photo if where the jam took place, in the Warshaw bar. It was pretty packed, the battles were cypher style, not on stage so it was extremely hard to find a good spot to see everything. The jam ended at 7. We got back to Jersey around 9, went to get pizza and beer. We wanted to get a 6 pack of Corona's, well we got a 6 pack alright! haha they totally cut the box of a larger pack and sold it like this!
lol how ghetto! but yea.. We just ate and played beer pong and flip cup for the rest of the night.
Sunday, Oct 17, woke up pretty late. Headed to the jam, Layze drove this time. They had the finals for the 3 on 3 , finals for crew battle, and bgirl 7 to smoke.
Can I tell u how amazing everyone is? 
It's so crazy what people are able to do! So much inspiration. So the winners on the 3on3's were lions of Zion (i think that is their name), I don't remember the name of the winner of 7to smoke is but she is frombrooklyn, and winner on crew battle us maximum crew from Korea. Congrats to everyone!
So after the battle,we went to get something to eat at Checkers. Then went to go take pictures wit this amazing view of new York .
Monday, Oct 18, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER! she turned 20 0_0. Time is going too fast. Well for our last day, we went to this Japanese market/ shopping mall, Korea town for boba drinks and Korean food, drove through central park, and went to the museum of natural history. Pretty fun stuff!
