The next day, we met up with more friends to grab something to eat and then headed to Scoo B Doo's locking workshop.
This workshop was extremely inspiration. Scoo b Doo is a legendary Locker. The words he spoke had so much meaning to it. A couple of us were pulled off to the side to learn the very basics of locking while the others learned a routine. Natasha and another locker, I forgot his name ><, taught us. We learned the basic prep and lock, the Scoo b doo, skeeter rabbit, Scoo bot, and the stop and go.
After the workshop, we went to the premium outlets and got a dark chocolate banana elixir from godiva chocolate. Sooooooo good! And the we went to Lola's Louisiana cuisine. Amazing food!! Everything is good.
After that, we went to The Get Back at the beauty bar. Once every first Friday of the month, this bar has the get back, which is a funk night. Amazing dancers and d.j.'s get together and just do their thing. I'm sad that Utah doesn't have something like this. Other than having smoke blown in my face the whole night, it was fun!
The next day, we went to eat at a chicken place, I forgot what it us called. Then went to the Vegas Shakedown. My boyfriend was the judge of the house competition and my sister battled for the first time. She made top 8! Such amazing house dancers!!
The popping battle was next. Wow, these guys are crazy!! So amazing what they can do with their body!
Breaking battle was next. Very dope crews. My boyfriend and his crew, a.o.d., got to the semi finals! I was so happy! HISpanic, another Utah crew, took first place! There were many crews from Utah representing, it was awesome .
This trip was worth every minute! I am leaving with so much inspiration and a stronger drive to improve my dancing. Thank you to everyone and everything for giving me this experience.

The battles were dope! I've never seen so many door bboys and bgirls. There were even really young generation bboys and bgirls that were CRAZY!!! This days battles were the prelims for the crew battles. My boyfriend entered wit Layze's crew; part time models Haha. I thought they did very well. I've attached a photo if where the jam took place, in the Warshaw bar. It was pretty packed, the battles were cypher style, not on stage so it was extremely hard to find a good spot to see everything. The jam ended at 7. We got back to Jersey around 9, went to get pizza and beer. We wanted to get a 6 pack of Corona's, well we got a 6 pack alright! haha they totally cut the box of a larger pack and sold it like this!
lol how ghetto! but yea.. We just ate and played beer pong and flip cup for the rest of the night.
It's so crazy what people are able to do! So much inspiration. So the winners on the 3on3's were lions of Zion (i think that is their name), I don't remember the name of the winner of 7to smoke is but she is frombrooklyn, and winner on crew battle us maximum crew from Korea. Congrats to everyone!
